The last Black Swamp Bird Observatory event we had (in person) was the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Diversity Conference. It was just Kimberley and I that went this year and we had a really nice time together. We sold a lot of socks and earrings and shared a lot of personal stories. It was great to get to know someone better that I have known my whole life!

The last social event we had was Karen’s birthday party in Oregon in mid-March. That was the last time everyone was all together. It seems fitting that Karen brought us all together before the world fell apart – especially when I know that she is suffering from not being able to be social, hug everyone, and laugh with her people!
